Things to consider when making an advert

Time it airs: the content it contains - is it appropriate for other audiences to see?

Who it involves: If it involves children and made for a young audience it should be shown during hours children aren't in school or before the watershed.

Could it be offensive to anyone and why?: If it could be seen as offensive then it should be edited so that the offensive clips are cut out or it should be broadcasted after the watershed.

What actions could we carry out to prevent offence?: We should make the advert suitable for the target audience and make sure it is shown at a time for the target audience to see.
